| "ROCK MACHINE" er Eigil Bergs hyllest til rockens første helter. Drivende og melodiøs med boogie-piano, tamburiner, masse produksjonsfinesser og et catchy refreng. Utgitt på single med norsk tekst. Det ble foretatt ny miks til singleutgaven - den engelske versjonen har noe mer klangfull tam-tam-tromme i refrenget, en mer hørbar tamburin og Svein Finjarns gitar kommer så vidt med i Eigils pianointroduksjon på fjerde takten. Produsent Johnny Sareussen og Eigils beundring for den amerikanske produsenten Phil Spector's "Wall-of-sound-produksjoner" skinner gjennom i produksjonen av "ROCK MACHINE". En sterk melodi og en sterk komposisjon - absolutt verdig som tittelmelodi til NJS' 1979-album. Det hadde NJS selv umuliggjort ved å bruke "Rock Machine" som albumtittel allerede i 1974, i mellomtiden hadde også NJS-klubben i 1978 adoptert navnet til sin fanzine.
