"NO PARTICULAR PLACE TO GO" ble innspilt live 2. januar 1992 som en del av fire låter NJS framførte i NRK TVs "Kom og Dans!" i regi av Johan Fastings Danseskole.  Innespillingene ble fordelt over tre program 23. juli, 30. juli og 6. august samme år. De tre øvrige melodiene NJS framførte var "Sweet Little Sixteen", "My Baby Just Cares For Me" og "Half A Boy And Half A Man". Innspillingene ble foretatt mens NJS var i ferd med å skifte besetning - Ole Marius Melhuus var kommet til på bass mens Svein Finjarn hjalp til på gitar og sang etter at Bjørn Kristiansen hadde gitt seg i bandet. Foruten Ole Marius og Svein var som tidligere Eigil Berg, John Kolloen og Ivar Hovden på plass. Enn så lenge - kort tid etter TV-opptaket forlot både Svein og Ivar bandet. Johan Fasting Produksjon ga ut innspillingene på to kassetter senere i 1992 og dette er eneste sted vi finner NJS' versjoner av disse melodiene og denne noe spesielle NJS-besetningen.
