"I'M GONNA KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR" var først hit med Eddie Hodges i 1961. Som åpningssporet på "Rock Machine" viser den en langt fyldigere sound enn den som finnes på NJS' foregående og første album "Hold On". Nesten en barnelåt som ble forsterket ytterligere etter Jimmy Osmonds versjon i 1970. Eigil Berg synger dobbelt og ringingen er faktisk fra et autentisk ringeapparat spesialbygget for denne innspillingen av Eigils bandkollega fra Morgans, Per Bråten. Så fikk da Per benyttet ingeniørutdannelsen sin fra Trondheim til noe nyttig!
