| "THE END OF THE WORLD" var en stor hit, også i Norge, med Skeeter Davis i 1963. Full klaff med NJS-versjonen, preget av produksjonens luftige lydbilde, gode atmosfære med bruk av mellotron og cembalo. Svein Finjarns gitarsolo gjøres akustisk og Eigil Berg synger tostemt i refrenget. En av NJS' mest vellykkede ballader fra midten av 1970-tallet. For øvrig en gjenganger i radio hver april i mange år framover - da med norsk tekst.
